24hr Invitational

We’re offering a 24hr Invitational race for top athletes looking to qualify for a national team or set a new record. The 24hr Invitational will start on Wednesday, 4/7 10:00am with the idea that the track will be relatively empty, with only the 6 day runners on track.

If you think you qualify for the 24hr Invitational register for the 24hr race, then email info@endlessendurance.com and describe your past performances and your goal for this race. We will make a decision within 15 days of your registration. In the unlikely event that you do not qualify to run the invitational race and you do not wish to run the regular 24hr, we will process a complete refund for your registration.

Timing and Race Process:

The race will be chip timed, with chips on your bib and chips attached to your shoes. Timing will be managed by Mike Melton from MCM Timing and Results

Runners will have the allotted time to run as far as you possibly can on this track. We will not be counting partial mileage and only full laps.

We will change directions on the track every 6 hours.

Pit Area and Aid Station:

There will be a pit area for you to stash your stuff for the week around the track and take as many breaks as long as you want during the event. No tents larger than 10x10 and no alcohol is allowed on site. NO TENT STAKES ARE ALLOWED.

There will be one main aid station with standard aid station food up and running all week. We will have plenty of vegan friendly options and are planning to provide a schedule for provided meals throughout the week. We plan to provide 2 meals each day for runners *Schedule will be coming later*

This race is a cupless race - we will have a limited supply of hot drink cups only

This means we do not plan to have a ton of plastic cups for you waiting at the aid stations. Please plan to bring a bladder/pack, water bottle, or reusable cup to use.

Amenities:

The venue has indoor bathrooms, but we will also have portable bathrooms dedicated to our event. We are also trying to coordinate to have a shower trailer on site for runners to utilize.

We will have a large tent that will act as a pavilion around the aid station.

Weather:

This is April in NJ and it will likely be 4 full seasons. It could rain, it could snow, it could be hot, and it could be cold; all in the same week.

Refunds/Deferrals/Transfers:

We do not offer refunds, deferrals, or transfers.

If for any reason we have to cancel the event everyone will be deferred to the following year at no cost.
